Hello! This is a post for directing participants to places where they can find fanworks to nominate in the exchange and permission statements to go with. Essentially, a canon promo post! It's also where creators can give permission for recursion and let us know their work(s) are available.

This is a purely optional step for the exchange! After posting here, you still need to nominate individual works. Please feel free to browse and discuss/coordinate nominations, but top-level comments should be for promos only.

Promo Post

Before you make your promo post, here are some things to consider:

• Aside from individual participants' DNWs on their requests, we aren't able to enforce any restrictions on the contents or format of the recursive works created for this exchange.
• We also will not restrict who requests/offers to create for nominated fanworks.
• Please make sure your permission statement allows for fic and art, at minimum!
• All recursive works posted to this exchange will be required to use the "Inspired by" feature to link back to the work they are recursing. You do not have to approve the link.

A promo post should include:

• a link to a permission statement
• the username used to post the work(s) you're letting us know are eligible
• the relevant fandom(s) and medium(s) — if it's a lot of fandoms, feel free to summarize.
• links to the work(s).

Additionally:

• You can give permission for just one work, or for all works, or somewhere in between.
• You do not need to be a participant in the exchange to opt-in on this post.
• You are welcome to comment anonymously without identifying yourself as the creator as long as you have a permission link.
• Posting here does not nominate your work for the exchange! Specific works still need to be nominated via the nominations process. Nominations open on May 10th.

I'm a writer, and I've written a bunch across fandoms. (like, seriously, I have almost 300 fics, so this is going to be long, but it's barely a dent in what I've written)
Mostly Harry Potter and Yuri on Ice, but also a significant amount in other fandoms, as well as original work.

Some things are cowritten (including the series "Cat Café Universe", "you took my soul and wiped it clean" as well as a number of individual works), and/or part of various big bangs with myself writing the fic and various artists completing the artwork ("Young Dumb and Stung" series as well as listed works) - so please take that as you will. I'm not responsible for obtaining consent from my co-creators.

Works on my older works pseud (serpendaigle) and my sock parsleymoore are also open to recursive works.

Some works I think might be of particular interest, by fandom:
Harry Potter (& Related)
I mostly focus on Regulus Black (and the Black family as a whole) and Neville Longbottom (including Neville/Anthony), as well as Remus/Lily and Drarry.
- ô saisons, ô châteaux (ravenclaw au) - 250k WIP series - canon-divergent AU in which Regulus is sorted into Ravenclaw, going through all seven years at Hogwarts and beyond, with a diverse cast (Jewish characters, characters of color, neurodivergent characters, and virtually every character is LGBT in some way). ongoing, but all seven years at Hogwarts are complete. (also featuring this 3k future-set fic with one of the main characters)
- enough contrition to spare - 12k oneshot - Regulus Lives canon-divergent AU wherein Regulus takes the place of Snape in the narrative. also there's a kitten.
- the pressure is getting to me (i'm still breathing) - 6k oneshot -canon compliant AU following Regulus and Sirius after Sirius leaves his parents' house. lots of family angst and bad coping mechanisms!
- scratch my name on your arm with a fountain pen - 2k oneshot - canon divergent AU (alternate sorting (slytherin sirius), Neville as BWL, Remus not at Hogwarts, etc) in which Sirius goes to a Muggle bookstore to spite his brother and ends up dating Remus and making Muggle friends.
- I Know My Luck Too Well - 8.5k fic - canon compliant fic where Remus, following the deaths of Lily and James, moves to Manchester and tries to make a living as a Muggle in the mid-1980s.
- lots of latkes - 589 wc Fantastic Beasts ficlet - the second movie never happened. all is as it should be. (newtina and jackweenie fluff, set during chanukah)
I've also written a bunch of Muggle AUs, including a Regency AU if that catches your eye! My OCs are totally free to use, provided their identities aren't erased.

Yuri On Ice
this is pretty much all otayuri, plus some JJ fic and a handful of other things - tbh a LOT of my works for this fandom are co-authored (by series if not listed on the individual work), so please check the series tag - Cat Café Universe is all co-created, and Young Dumb and Stung is for a Big Bang
- boys and cats - 1k oneshot - fluffy pre-relationship otayuri in which yuri visits otabek and is a human cat
- what doesn't kill me makes me want you more - 6k oneshot - otayuri friends with benefits to lovers, because clearly these boys can keep feelings out of the mix. feat. a big confession!
- JJ's Girl - 1k oneshot - early relationship JJBella fluff featuring Otabek
- The Café - 1k oneshot - canon divergent AU; Yuri is retired and living in Berlin, Otabek never became a skater. Otabek keeps coming back to the café where Yuri works.
- The Trouble with Hänschen - 4k oneshot - written for AU week; East Berlin AU, circa 1976. Yuri's still Russian, but he's an actor. Otabek is a musician.
- The Benefits of Learning Russian - 1k oneshot - I think my one pure Victuuri fic; Yuuri moves to Piter after the series and starts learning Russian (as Victor is learning Japanese).

Chronicles of Narnia
mostly Edmund and Susan fic, canon/OC ships.
- on marriage/traditions - all in all 3k Edmund/OC oneshot duology - set during the Golden Age; Edmund's marriage to a (Jewish) Terebinthian prince is arranged.
- Lipstick and Invitations - 7k oneshot - Susan-centric Everyone Lives AU set in 1949 in London. Featuring lesbian Susan, gay Edmund, and Lucy being Lucy. There's also a discussion of the gay and lesbian scenes in London at the time, and a lavender relationship.
- the most wonderful time of the year - 3k oneshot - modern / ren faire AU. alternating POV and featuring the pevensies + eustace/jill.
- tame our ways (if we start to devise something more) - 5k oneshot - London 1948 (in my heart it's an Everyone Lives AU, but we're not there yet on the timeline). Edmund goes to university and meets a boy.
OCs in this one as well are fair game!

Umbrella Academy TV
mostly Five and Klave fics - though a few here are cowritten as well (none that I'll list below, though).
- Aunt Sarah's Noodle Kugel - 369 wc ficlet - season two fic, Klaus "running into" Dave before he leaves Dallas the first time. Dave has no idea what is going on or why this homeless guy is talking to him about Chanukah.
- We Need To Talk About Dolores - 310 wc ficlet - season one fic where the other siblings (sans vanya) discuss Five being in love with a mannequin, because, yeah, guys, that's a little weird.
- Mr. Pennycrumb - 330 wc ficlet - Mr Pennycrumb was the best part of the comics and we were ROBBED in the show. ROBBED!
the public school AU series is also fair game!

Spinning Silver
mostly Mirnatius/Irina.
- dessert - 1k oneshot - Mirnatius tells Irina he's in love with her, but he's very self-loathing about it.
- motivations - 1k oneshot - canon-divergent/no demonic possession AU where Irina and Mirnatius's marriage is arranged anyway, because I thought her line wondering how things might have gone if they were normal was interesting!
- fairytales - 2.5k oneshot - canon-compliant, first time. lots of feelings, not all of them happy. most of them unhappy, actually.

Mad Men

-The Earthling Plot to Destroy All Martians - 2k oneshot - Ginsberg copes with Christmas in New York while trying to avoid Pete; Stan actually unironically helps.

-Sir Lancelot and Merlin Face The Great Blizzard of 1947 - 3.6k oneshot - Kit & Ruthie (and Stirling and Charlie) deal with a major blizzard. they also adopt puppies. domestic gen fluff with some hints of romance.

American Girls: Maryellen
-a new york chanukah - 2.6k oneshot - 1963 - Maryellen gets snowed in while visiting Davy in New York on her way home to Florida.

Succession
-the proof is in the pudding (literally. no one tested the pudding.) - 604 wc ficlet - Tom tries to poison Greg so he can take care of him. or does he?

-respite - 713 wc ficlet - Leia, Luke, and Han catch their breath when all is said and done. (canon compliant)
-just keep the wheels rolling, radio scrolling - 11k oneshot - modern AU. when Luke disappears without a trace, Leia has to rely on Han to help her find him - which means taking a cross-country road trip with the most insufferable man she's ever met. (HanLeia, past Han/Lando)

Star Wars/Buffy: friends in highly low places - 5.6k oneshot - Anakin was never found by the Jedi. Vampires get loose on Tatooine.
Lilo & Stitch/Doctor Who (2005): all kinds (or: an alien sighting in hawaii) - 658 wc ficlet - Donna wants a normal vacation, but of course there are aliens on the beach in plain sight! and the little blue dog-thing is just rude!
